Description
Black and white photo postcard of the roadhouse at the intersection of Boulevard East and Pershing Road. The hotel and restaurant was built in 1895 by Simon Kelly, then Mayor of Weehawken. It was used as headquarters for the Hudson County Democratic Committee during his tenure as mayor.
The building has remained a restaurant since its opening in 1895, though it has changed hands and names many times.
Postmarked August 13, 1911 from Weehawken.
