Postcard of an unidentified house - 1911

Description

This is a sepia toned photo postcard of an unidentified house, postmarked September 29, 1911 from Weehawken. According to Joel Simon, "the card was sent from Sophie H. Armbruster to another lady who lived on King Avenue. The only reference I have to Sophie in my data base is that she contracted to buy property in Block M (in the Heights) in 1917 but seems to never have followed through. However, there are two references to a Mrs. Annie or Anna Armbruster (widow of Charles) residing at 963 Boulevard East between 46th and 47th Streets in 1922 and 1931.
