Black and white undated photograph of Hackensack Avenue and 18th Street. The house on the left belonged to George Roman, a Civil War veteran, general contractor and real estate investor. His house was the first Weehawken jail, moved from 11th Street in Hoboken to this location. From the collection of Weehawken resident Bobby Reed.
