This photograph of the St. Lawrence Church Holy Name Society outing for 1961 to Sandy Beach was sent in by Charles Bradley. According to Time Machine user Jim Chieco, "The Class of 61 of which I am a member (bottom left) was the last class to graduate from Lincoln School. The School closed at the end of that 1961 school year. However the school itself was not torn down for a number of years after its closing. After that year the students from the Shades area of town began being bused up to Webster School."
