Description

Black and white photograph of the Palisades Hose Company No. 2 in front of their quarters at the dead end of Jane street. According to Willie Demontreux: They are standing next to an American LaFrance fire engine, from the 1920s (models from that time tend to repeat design. It appears that the company was drilling with the engine because the street is very wet. The Firefighter in the center with the bell cap is George Walters. From the collection of the Weehawken Historical Commission.
