Description

Two color digital photos, taken June 28, 2012, of the Binghamton Ferry sinking into the Hudson River. The ferry was launched in 1905, serving passengers from Hoboken to New York, and retired in 1967.

Since 1971 she has been moored in Edgewater, NJ and was a floating restaurant from 1975-2007. The Binghamton was placed on the National Register of historic places in 1982.
