Description

This postcard contains the following caption on the reverse: TRINITY CHURCH, Broadway and Wall St., New York City. MONUMENT OF ALEXANDER HAMILTON. 1757-1804. Hamilton saw active service throughout the Revolution and served as first Secretary of the Treasury from 1789-1795. He was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr in 1804. This monument was erected by the Vestry of Trinity Church.
