According to markings on this piece of rail, it was recycled in 1932 ('relayer rail' refers to rail that is pulled up and re-used), laid in the Weehawken Tunnel (today's HBLRT tunnel under the Palisades) in April 1939 and removed from that tunnel in November, 1942.
