This postcard is a 1991 reproduction of a circa 1914 photo. It has the following caption: Incorporated in 1908, the Union Dry Dock & Repair Company was headquartered in Weehawken, New Jersey, until 1984, when it purchased the former Pennsylvania Railroad repair at the foot of Ninth Street in Hoboken. Pictured are workers repairing a wooden car float, used to transport railroad cars across the Hudson River. This card was published by The Hudson Waterfront Museum located in West New York.
