Description

This handbill urges Weehawken voters to cast their vote for William Diebold, who was endorsed by the Weehawken Independent Citizens League and who was touted as being unbossed, unbiased and unafraid.

John Diebold, William Diebold's grandson and nephew of computer industry luminary and Weehawken resident, sent this image in to the Time Machine, but is unsure of the date of his grandfather's run for Mayor. William Diebold was President of the Board of Education in 1932.
